SteelCore proudly continues the proud legacy of Imperial Cut Alloy Inc., a reputable name in fabrication since 2012. After taking over operations in June 2025, we remain dedicated to honoring this legacy while investing in advanced technology to better support our community.
We are broadening our capabilities with laser cutting and automation to enhance our service delivery.

We are conveniently situated in Newmarket, just off Highway 404, where our 5,000 sq. ft. facility is fully equipped to manage projects of all sizes — from local walk-ins to extensive production runs.

Who we are
Doug MacDougall, President and CEO
Doug is a certified Precision Metal Fabricator with over 30 years of industry experience, bringing deep technical expertise and leadership to every project. He holds a Certificate of Apprenticeship from Durham College and has worked extensively across the commercial, aerospace, and automotive sectors.
Throughout his career, Doug has developed a mastery of fabrication processes including CNC punching, press brake forming, layout, shearing, and machine programming. He has produced critical components for clients such as Honeywell, Bombardier, Bell Helicopter, Mack Truck, and Volvo, and is well-versed in tight-tolerance, high-specification fabrication.
Doug’s knowledge of materials, industry standards, and production workflows ensures every part is made right the first time. Whether you're looking for one-off prototypes, production runs, or overflow support, SteelCore has the experience and capabilities to deliver with confidence — including meeting the requirements of government and regulated contracts.
Marta MacDougall, President and COO
Marta brings over 20 years of operational experience across the not-for-profit, healthcare, and legal sectors. At SteelCore, she leads business operations, customer experience, and strategic growth — ensuring every aspect of the company runs with precision and care.
Her responsibilities include financial oversight, customer relations, marketing, and team development, all with a focus on quality, communication, and efficiency. Marta also ensures regulatory compliance and safety, helping maintain SteelCore’s reputation for professionalism and reliability.
